PDSL is currently hiring for the role of Fire Alarm and Electronic Security Systems – Service Established in 2005, Prestige Detection Systems Ltd. (PDSL) is a leading supplier of Fire, Security, and Emergency Response Systems to businesses and community service providers throughout Ireland.

We specialise in delivering advanced fire detection, security surveillance, and emergency response technologies to a diverse clientele, including businesses and community service organisations. Our team boasts comprehensive expertise in various sectors, ensuring strict compliance with all project-specific design and installation standards.

Responsibilities of the Role:
– Installation, programming, testing, commissioning, and handover of fire alarm systems.
– Servicing and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
– Ensuring compliance with local standards and regulations for fire alarm systems.
– Diagnosing and resolving basic wiring issues.
– Installation, service, and maintenance of intruder alarm systems. Installation, service, and maintenance of CCTV systems, with knowledge of both analogue
and IP cameras.
– Installation, service, and maintenance of access control systems.
– Installation, service, and maintenance of automatic gates, barriers, turnstiles, and doors.
– Addressing customer queries and resolving issues promptly and courteously.
– Providing detailed investigation reports and follow-up reports on existing and new systems.
– Willingness to work overtime if required.
– Participating in an on-call rota as necessary.

Requirements:
– 4-5 years of experience in the industry.
– Excellent verbal and written English skills.
– Ability to work on own initiative.
– Exceptional attention to detail.
– Full clean driving license.
– Valid work permit for eligibility to work in Ireland.
